INGREDIENTS

  • 4 x 237ml The Great Gentleman Spicy Ginger Beer (Light)
  • 750ml Calvados Boulard
  • 2g cinnamon powder
  • 10 cloves
  • 10 star anis
  • 8 thyme (sprigs)
  • 1.5 oz apple cider
  • Pinch salt
  • 500ml lime juice
  • 500ml honey syrup
  • 1 apple slice (garnish, per glass)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (garnish, per glass)
  • 0.5 nutmeg (whole) (garnish, per glass)
  • 1 thyme (sprig, garnish, per glass)
  • Ice

RECIPE

Add cloves and star anis into the mortar and grind using the pestle for 20 seconds. In a large tea bag, add all of the dry ingredients and set aside. In a punch bowl, add the Calvados Boulard, apple cider, honey syrup and lime juice. Add the tea bag containing the spices, ice and four cans of The Great Gentleman Spicy Ginger Beer Light. Let the tea bag infuse for at least 15-20 minutes before serving. For more flavour, let it infuse overnight. Garnish with a slice of apple sprinkled with grated nutmeg, a cinnamon stick and a sprig of thyme.
